DALE AVENUE

The Housing Authority owns and manages 40 townhouse apartments at Dale Avenue, Franklin, Pennsylvania, designated for families.  They consist of 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom apartments.  The complex also has handicapped-accessible apartments.  These apartments aid those families with persons who use wheelchairs, and those who are hearing impaired.

The rent in these apartments is based on 30 percent of your monthly adjusted gross income.  The rent includes electric, water, garbage, and sewage.  Tenants are responsible for heating bills (gas), as well as telephone and cable services.   A range and refrigerator are included, and there are washer/dryer connections.

A playground and picnic area are available within the development.

COLONIAL MANOR

The Housing Authority owns and manages a five-story elderly-designated high-rise located at 1212 Chestnut Street, Franklin.  The building has 61 one-bedroom apartments, including handicapped-accessible apartments.

Colonial Manor is a secure locked facility with a security camera that is linked to a channel on the tenant's television.

Other amenities include a laundry room on each floor, a large community room with a full kitchen attached for family gatherings and tenant activities, a help call system, and a fire alarm system.  

The rent in these apartments is based on 30 percent of your monthly adjusted gross income.  The rent includes utilities (gas, electric, water, garbage, and sewage).  Telephone and cable services are your responsibility.
